I had my baby!
Hiya gals! Pics in my profile! Sydney was born one month ago today. We are both doing groovy as can be! Being pregnant during my gastric bypass seems to have not affected her at all, and we are sooo pumped up about it! There are soo many new faces and names...wow! I am sooooo very sorry I haven't been around much. I guess I just got sick of being judged about the pregnancy. As if I KNEW I was pregnant when I had the surgery.
Anyway, how is everyone?

Brandi -
I don't check in as often as I had been but was thrilled to see your post here. I saw you said you had her a month ago and about fell off my chair. I was thinking you were just a few short months along and shocked that that much time had passed!
As for you - aren't you thrilled? You have a beautiful baby and you are in the 230's now! That is just fantastic! It must be a huge relief after all you've been through to now see the scales going down dramatically as they were initially intended. You are just incredible for what you have gone through.
I am curious though - were people emailing you harassing you over the pregnancy? I can't imagine anyone being idiot enough to harass you over this. Obviously you didn't set out to get pregnant at the moment before you had surgery. Geesh! Some people are flipping idiots!
I am so very happy for you. You have so much to look forward to - even more than you ever thought. Keep us updated with photos and stories of Sydney. Congratulations!!!
Dina
I got some emails and some rude posts on the other boards. Telling me I was selfish and that my baby would be brain damaged (no kidding!), and that I shouldn't be shocked if I miscarried, it was too much for me to deal with. I couldn't take it. Of course now, everything is fine and I want to tell those people off, but when I first found out, I really let it get to me. I for sure hope to be around more now, and back on the WLS track!
