How about a Weekend Roll call???

I missed Tuesday's roll call and a lot of posts from before. Things have been crazy for me here. My husband was hospitalized with pneumonia last week for a few days, my son was sick and then it finally hit me this last week. Thankfully I was able to shorten it with Airborne though, but it feels like I'm getting ANOTHER virus on top of everything. So I'm ramping up the Airborne again. Boy - everything has been so bad this year for illness here. That's what I get for having a kid in school for the first time I guess. Other than being sick, I'm just trying to juggle all the responsibilities and activities I have my foot in - trying to alleviate some of those if I can. I do have another thing that I'm starting up though, and I may as well post it here since I posted it elsewhere and this affects Oregon itself. As most of you know I work for the Oregon State Police and our budget has been hacked to pieces lately, and now we have brilliant legislators proposing a study to see if we should be eliminated. Well, this is bureaucratic idiocy at it's pinnacle. So I'm working with our union to start a new campaign to save OSP. I am going to purchase and develop a website (likely something like saveosp.org) and then we will work on ribbons similar to the ones that say "support our troops" only these will be blue and say "Support Our Troopers." I'm saying something here now because I figure getting the word out starts at home and wherever I can get it started, I will open my mouth. Well, I just went off on a rant that I had to delete because there will be time more for that later. ;) So check in and say hey - what is going on with you this week? Dina

Hi Dina wonderful Idea!!!! I think it will do very well. As for my week Im recovering from plastic surgery and stuck in a recliner. I cant wait to get out its driving me bonkers. The first year of school is hard but this year has been bad for colds yuck .I get 1 well and then the next is sick.My littlest is sick now good luck getting rid of the cooties Heather
