I will be going for my surgery 2-1. My instructions say bring comfortable clothes. I am not sure what that means. Any suggestions for what to bring from a post-op would sure be appreciated! Sue

maybe some sweats, a robe and some slippers for walking the halls. and some chap stick. I wish I had brought my own most comfortable pillow as the hosp pillows didn't quite cut it. Jer

I second what Jer said. I missed my pillow. I never even used one thing I brought to the hospital. Until I put on my own clothes to go home I never even opened my bag. I was either walking/sleeping or visiting with friends. I did not need anything I brought. I will say that my surgery was running really late and the pre-holding room is where I spent 4 hours, so a book or something to pass the time may be necessary there is all. Good luck, my prayers go out to you for an uneventful surgery.

I took a down throw that was the talk of everyone who came into my room. Cozier and warmer than those awful hospital blankets and it stuffs into a bag easily. tee

Hi Sue. I was there quite a few days....20....so I took alot more things than most. I took an address book with phone numbers so that I could call family/friends. Chapstick was a real must. Comb, small hand mirror. Looking forward to seeing you on the losing side! Peg

Sue, Bring LOOSE clothes. I thought what are normaly very comfortable and loose. Because I was swollen after surgery they ended up being a little tight. I didn't have far to go home so it wasn't bad. Just a thought Carrie
