Patty reminded me that we have a Value Village nearby. OMG!!! I went there today and I thought I was at Disneyland!! They have some beautiful clothes there. You just have to rummage through them all. Most of what I found were size smalls and 10's!!!!!!!!!!! I could almost get into an 8, but I have too much skin around my tummy area. I bought $70 worth of clothing. One cute little jacket was a name brand with the original tags still on it.... $79.00. So.... I got 3 pullover sweaters, two professional suits, a denim jacket, one blouse, 2 pant outfits and 4 pairs of pants for less than the cute little jacket's original price!! I think everyone coud hear me laughing and giggling in the dressing room, as I tried on each outfit. I feel so blessed to have had this second chance at life. Joy

Fabulous! there is also a second habd shop on NW 23rd in Portland that often has designer and high end clothing for really cheap. Some very classic stuff. As with anywhere, you have to dig a bit and they are small so going in every once in a while produces best result. There is also a Goodwill (where, I am not sure) that has the higher end clothing as well. When we get together, could we meet somewhere besides an Appleby's or similar? I didn't find their menu friendly to my food plan and I love GOOD coffee. Appleby's is not my cup of coffee, Olive Garden is next door and their salads are fine for me if this is central. And, it's time people! Enough talking about it. What day this week will it be? I'm okay with any day this week mid-day if I know early in the week. xoxo tee
