Snow!!!!!!

It's snowing in Tualatin!!! Our first snow since moving to Oregon. It's beautiful. I'm sure we would get tired of it in a few years, but for right now it feels like Christmas for the first time in my life. Just wanted to share! Joy

well, snow is fine to play in as long as you don't have to work in it. Luckily for me I have the day off tomarrow so don't have to worry about icy roads tomarrow. But Tuesday will be another matter. Anyone for some more sunshine? Jer

I'm with you, Jerry. I don't have to work, so I am going to stay real cozy at home tomorrow. I'm thinking Phoenix, AZ is looking mighty good to me right now! Stay warm! Peg

Our wonderful DIL and her husband called us as we were driving in from Seattle last night to ask if they could come stay with us because of the snow and ice. They live at the bottom of a hill and were worried that they wouldn't be able to get out to go to work. She walked to MAX this morning and had no problem. He is still here trying to get a flight out to the east coast. So far all his flights have been cancelled. Maybe this afternoon. So, we have a houseful! The drive was treacherous from Woodland all the way into Portland. Thank goodess we are on the north side or it would have been a much longer drive. Had we known sooner, we might have gotten an earlier start out of the Bellvue Square parking lot.......or not. My husband put the chains on the car and went to retrieve everyone about 9:30 last night. when we got in. Snow is beautiful from the window, strudel turned out great, fire is blazing and everyone is safe and sound. Life is good! tee

Hi Tee. Nice to know your family is safe. I am all nice and cozy at home too. Hope we can get a group together after the holidays. It would be nice to finally meet you! I wanted to after my first surgery, but it just didn't happen. Maybe this time... Peg
