what are we missing here?

We need to share. I had my operation 10-25-05 at Coos Bay & my surgeon was Dr. Stephen Tersigni. It's a good thing the good doctor is located on the coast because I really believe he could walk on water. I lost about 50 lbs. before the operation and I've lost 50lbs. since. 100 lbs. & one of the important things that helped me through the process was the support group so I believe in it. I'm trying to get a support group established in Florence so if anyone is interested let us know. Another matter is there is a proposal to eliminate by pass surgery from coverage by medicare. The alledged reason is that patients over 65 are at a greater risk to suffer a fatality. My surgeon has performed hundreds of these operations & he says, in his experience. this is not true. Write your Congressman if you believe everyone that needs this operation should have a shot at it. This is my first post so if I've stubbed my toe please forgive me. Another Jerry
