I'm officially a bandster now

I had my lap band surgery yesterday at 7:30 am and came home today! The dye test came out just fine, no leaks. I was a little nauseous the first day and I did end up throwing up the contrast about an hour after the test. Otherwise it went really smoothly. Dr Jan was absolutely great. Here's to starting a new chapter in my life. Thanks for all your support.

Julie, glad things went well for you. I'm waiting at this time to have the Lap Banding done. I see Dr Hong next Wednesday. How long after you saw Dr Jan's did it take to have your surgery? I think that the Institue has really improved the amount of time that it takes to get approved for surgery now. Hope you stay well and have a speedy recovery. Keep us posted
