Anyone just want to meet for coffee?
Hi. I read all the time about those of you who go out Friday nights for dancing and partying. I know you are probably having a blast. However, I'm in my mid-50's and not what you would call a "party animal." I am interested in getting together with others who would just like to meet over coffee or go for a walk or something like that. I'm really trying to break out of thinking that everything I do has to revolve around food...except for coffee! Anyone interested in just getting together to talk or walk? I live in the Beaverton area, but I could meet in Portland too.
Thanks.
Peggy

Hi Theresa. Yes, you are definitely one of the "party animals," and I would love to get together at a local restaurant for coffee sometime...if it's not past my bedtime! Just kidding! It would be fun to talk about how we're all doing. Just let me know, and I'll see what I can do to be there. Thanks for responding.

Hi Dina. I know exactly where Medford is. It's my hometown and I graduated from high school there! My husband grew up in Ashland, and we still go back down there to visit his family. Mine moved up here to the Portland area. How are you doing? I'm having a great time since I retired...a little over a week ago! It's nice to feel well enough to go play tennis, which my dh and I did this morning for the first time in over 20 years. I just stood there on the court and was so grateful for the ability to do it. I feel so fortunate to have another chance at life. Losing weight...even if I'm not half-way there yet, has made such a difference.
You take care, and GO MEDFORD!
Peggy
