SURGERY TOMORROW!!!
Well everyone, it's time!!! I am scared a bit but now I have to do this.....I was fine a few days ago and then last night lost it emotionally. I couldn't stop crying!!!! Today I feel a bit better......still scared. I wish I could be so excited like some of you are!
I'm more concerned about any complications later then earlier but all I can do is pray that God will keep me safe.
Pray for me and I will talk to you all soon.
Surgery at Good Sam. at 7:30AM (well probably not until 9:30) think good thought for me!
Hugs, Nadine
Hi Nadine. I'm praying for you right now that the Lord will calm your nerves and guide the surgeon's hands so that you will have a good outcome to your surgery. Just take it one day at a time...one hour at a time. Please let us know how you are doing. It's a scarey journey, but most things are that are worth doing.
God bless.
Peggy
Dear Nadine,
Your worry is all to familiar right now. I remember how anxious I was before surgery, my hubby and I were up talking until 3 am and then we had to be at the hospital at 7am.
My prayers are with you....go sing your heart out tonight with Tim McGraw. All of our thoughts are with you.
Love,
T S

Nadine,
I know everything will be great for you! I know it won't dismiss the anxiousness you're feeling, but those feelings are normal. Just like we talked about the other night...right?
I am so very excited for you! This is such a gift we have been given...the chance at being healthier and feeling better about ourselves! I am thankful everyday for this opportunity for you and me....and everyone else!
I expect sleep will probably be out of the question tonight, but you'll get plenty of rest once you're officially a "loser".
I'll see you at the hospital tomorrow!
Michele
Awwwe - I'm so sorry I didn't get to see this yesterday to give you a proper send-off, but my thoughts are with you right now as you are probably in surgery right now. I will say a special prayer for you that your recovery is swift and easy.
As for the nerves, too late to give you advice on that, but for everyone else reading, well, I look at it like this: Some people go bungee jumping, some people scale mountain walls, others go in for surgery! The danger and excitement are all there, but the benefits of the surgery far outweigh the benefits of the others. Personally, if I were about to go bungee jumping, I'd be a blithering idiot!
