My butt is gone! I have a wardrobe of really good quality clothing that no longer fit. They would fit a TALL person (sorry but the proportion [shoulder, pant and sleeve lengths] won't work for someone who is under 5"7-8" tall) Since I know how hard it is to find large professional clothing that work for a tall person, I am looking for someone who can use some professional clothes and then pass them on. Classic styles, nothing trendy. Sizes 16-22. Jones New York, Elizabeth and others of similar quality. Also some better sportswear. I could use similar in size 14-16. I have nothing to wear so have stooped to stealing my husband's levis (34/34) Anyone thought of having a clothing exchange? I would be willing to host it in Portland on a weekday evening if we can find a date that works. tee

Have you checked out the clothing exchange here? I do believe the only thing to negotiate is postage. I could go for some of your clothes as I'm thisclose to being into 22's, but that would mean shipping which might be a pain. Dina

Don't blame you for not knowing about it. It is very difficult to find some things on this site. ::sigh:: Here is the link: http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/clothingexchange.phtml Dina

Hey tee, Ok, do tell.. what is YOUR name??? my nick name from childhood was "TT" stood for a few things actually.. short for theresa, "tubby theresa" and later "***** theresa"... family/friends/kids are MEAN.. but it just stayed with me through the years and now I always respond to "T"... hmmmm could go back and to all those meanies and say TT is for "thin theresa".. naw, who cares now! I certainly don't... I like going by T.. ok, if the clothing exchange doesn't work out for you either here or in person and you decide to just give the clothes away I know of a web sight that is pretty dam cool... www.freecycle.org You post items you don't want, or even items you might NEED.. it's totaly 100% FREE.. I often see single mothers needing clothing as they are entering the workplace again.. Theresa

Hi Jennifer, Let me know what you want for your clothes that no longer fit. I would be willing to take them off your hands,as I'm 8 weeks post-op and have gone down a size in my clothes. I have very few clothes now that fit me. I work at a Hospital,so I wear scrubs all day at work. Let me know. Thank You Jeanne

Tee, I believe I'd be able to take some of that clothing off your hands. I just got my surgery approved and will be setting my date tomorrow. For personal reasons, I have to have it before the end of August. I'm currently in 26/24. Since I am required to look very professional for my job....IT consulting and sales, the clothing would be greatly appreciated and I would be willing to pay you something for them. Especially, since I don't have any clothing to trade them for. I've already arranged for some of my bigger clothing to go to a person, but I'll be wanting to get rid of mine eventually as well. All very nice column dresses w/jackets, some of my favorites from Spiegel sad to see those go, guess I'll have to just look for it in a smaller size. And my very favorite dress of all.......I call it my "Pretty Woman" dress. It's just like the dress she wore to the polo match, but mine is bright red w/white polka dots. Quite flirty!....that's why I like it! And I bought a short white cardigan to wear over the "way too big" arms....those really made it "not so pretty woman", lol. Let me know....I'm sure you'll have plenty of people interested. Michele
