I had lap gastric bypass surgery 7 weeks ago,I'm feeling great and have lost 52 lbs so far. My question is this. I have a double chin,it is going away gradually, but I was hoping that it will not turn into loose sagging skin. Have any of you been here? What was the results for you? I don't know if there is any type of exerise for the chin!! Anyway,I hope you will respond if you can. Thanks

Wish I could help you there Jeanne but I'm not quite 60 lbs down myself yet and didn't have sagging there (yet). Hopefully someone else will be able to pop up with it. I know ps is in my future. I just hope I don't have to do the whole sheebang! Dina

Hi jeanne, I have lost 104 pounds.. I did have a double chin but as you can see in my picture (even though I am cheating by tilting my head) it wasn't that large to begin with.. but if you look at my WWW and see some of my older pic's -vs- the newer pic's it did go away.. excersizing for the jaw and face are kinda wierd and hard to explain but yes there is some.. how good they are I have no idea.. after all just think about all the "chewing" muscles it took to get that double chin.. LOL also I think as for the amount of sag you will have will depend on 1. the elasticity in your skin/genetic's 2. your age 3. how big you are to begin with.. my chin is not my problem area.. now my ass?? oh a whole other story there.. mental pic you don't need: standing naked and my butt cheeks are some place around the back of my knee's.. LOL (not really but it seem's like it) Theresa
