Need Feedback

Hi, All. Has anyone had experience with Dr. Flanagan in Eugene or Dr. Patterson in Portland? My husband is interested in wls and the hospital that my dr. practices at doesn't allow wls on anyone over 60. (My hubby is 61.) Am looking at other physicians. Any feedback would be welcome. Cindy

Dr. Patterson has a HUGE following, and I also know for a FACT that she has operated on somebody 70 years old (it was in her literature passed out at a seminar thingie). I am going to go with her and feel 100% confident! Good luck! Let us know what you decide! Brandi

Thanks, Brandi. I thought she did (Dr. Patterson). It seems to me that I've read that she requires her patients to jump through quite a lot of hoops. Is that what you found? What does she require? Cindy

Flanagan has a loyal following and apparently has a great track record as well. However, the one comment I always keep hearing about him is how his beside manner is virtually non-exsistent and that he continually whines about insurance companies not paying him enough. I think he's close to retiring. Dina
