I spoke with Gary at obesitylawyers.com ([email protected]) and he explained a little about it to me. The thing is that the insurance companies so far are able to exclude certain things - even if your life depends on it. Those are the stakes when you purchase insurance. The way to get around it is if they have any holes in that exclusion or if your bargaining board allows for it with another insurance offered to others that isn't offered to you (like with my state insurance). Unless it is made law to cover it I don't hold much hope a lawsuit will help. I will be first in line cheering you on though, but I think the issue isn't so much the insurance companies as it is the employer who purchases the insurance plan. Regence BCBS pays for wls for certain group policies, but just not ours. That is what our premiums are based on - what benefit package our employer chooses. Dina

How or who could all members send the money to, so they could record names who donated, so there would be absolutely no dishonesty I dont know on that part i know were honest, but who will believe us! Got any ideas, im still processing this all out, my husband is helping me,, so any ideas from anyone would be cool. And also whos surguies coming up and does not have any way to pay, this is something im hoping for other members to speak out i know there has got to be talented people who could figure this out im so close i hpoe this works for someone and then they post it then it will be real!!! marla
