Nadine surgery in 2 weeks....HOLY COW!!!!!!

Boy this board is SLOW!!!! Well, got a call last week and was approved for the RNY then told they have an opening on July 19th..... I CANNOT beleive I am doing this and so soon......!!! But I know I will be OK and so happy with the after results and can't wait to feel better and become healthy again. Of course I already had one knee surgery last year, now I hurt my other knee. So hopefully this will help it heal with some weight off them. Anyhow, if any one has any advice,things to make sure of?? Things to bring?? Etc...Please let me know. I have been posting most questions on the Main Board since it moves like the wind......LOL I hope to see you all afterwards if not before then.....Please pray for me as well....Thanks! Congrats Nadine!!!! Thats soo awesome.....this is gonna be the right choice and your gonna do GREAT!!! As for things to bring, I know I read a BUNCH of lists in the library here, so check that out! I am still pre-op so can't give ya any personal experience, but there is tons of info on it in the library.... The 19th, wow! So in 2 weeks you will be a loser!! How groovy is that???? BE sure to keep us posted on your progress!!! We wan't to know EVERYTHING!! Brandi

Congratulations, Nadine. I was worried there for a while that you weren't going to get the surgery. I'll be sending good thoughts your way. Who is doing your surgery? Dr. Patterson or Dr. Hong? Anyway, good luck. Pam
