where's the update on Theresa S?

Okay okay okay....So I'm not the best at updates. Theresa S. is doing wonderfully. She has had some major nausea...but she has been walking and walking. She did have to have an upper GI cause the Dr. was concerned about her nausea. She thinks it is just from the pain meds. She is very alert and talkative and anxious to start her new life on the other side. She is coming home today!!!! Okay so....here she went and had a gastric bypass....so what does Kaiser give her in the hospital....this nutritional drink crap that is full of sugar and has only 8 grams of protein in the entire can. Then they wonder why she was nauseated. Go figure! Finally they bring her one that is sugar free. Her Dr. was shocked that the nutrional people were giving his patients a drink full of sugar. Anyway...I have been very impressed with her progress. She can get in and out of the bed with almost no help at all and is walking up to 10 mins at a time. I think she is gonna progress at a wonderful pace. LOL and I'm sure she will be ready to go back out and karaoke with everyone by next week! Happy 4th of July everyone! Take care, Shelley
