I was scammed!!!!!

H i you guys wll remember a few days ago I had told you i found a insurance that would pay for wls and was affordable, well i found out they are a patient foundation advocacy, they were very tricky and took my money, i am getting my refund back however thankfully. So sorry if i got anyones hope high on insurance that paid for wls. They were terrible and lied and misinformed me on alot of issues just so i would enroll in their company and i believed them. Beware of MEDICAL SAVINGS ASSOCIATES, i applied online for health insurance and this is what i got, a patient foundation advocacy that almost took my money for nothing. people sorry for inconvenience. marla cook

Wow Marla - that's horrible! I hope you don't have a problem getting your money back. I can't believe how horrible some people are!!! I am so happy you reported back to us right away on this though. I'm sorry you had to be the one to find out it was a hoax though. Dina

Brandi, I called them to find out what doctors they had for wls, what i would have to pay out of pocket, and what they would pay once i was for sure on there policy, B.j was his name i recall and he says were not an insurance company if that s what your thinking, I said wait a minute what do you mean your not an insurance company, he said were only here to give you the best deal and the best quotes for your procedure. I said gee ya didnt tell me that the other day when i was giving you my money!! He says not one time did his employee give me an impression that iwas applying for health insurance, I said what kind of m......f....scam are you trying to play with i would have never givin you my money for something like quotes that i could get for free! I said, I have a disease(obesity) that noone will help me with including my jobs insurance not so much as adiet pill is covered on my policy, and now youre telling me i have no insurance for wls and i just paid you(bj) 250.00 for nothing you mislead me to believe in something that was so false, now i want my money back, of course he says we have a no refund policy, i then told him have you ever heard of better buisness bureau, or how about a lawyer who can sue the pants off your company for false advertisement!! To make a very long yelling process short i finally was transferred to the refund lady. phew that was a close call, I have learned a great lesson, Brandi thanks for your support whan i felt like such a ..... Oh my gosh! I am soooo sorry! I know where I work will cover WLS if your looking for a low-paying crappy job. Insurance kicks in after 3 months and as far as I know, you just need 3 months supervised WL attempts. But the job REALLY sucks and the pay is 8hr after the first 6 weeks. I wish you luck in your search! Brandi
