Southern OR newbies??

Hello all! I am new to this site and as of yet, have not had surgery. I do have a date set though, July 14th. I was hoping to find other people in my area to buddy up with. We do have a new support group in Grants Pass but it only meets once a month and I'm certain I will need more than just that in the beginning! Any takers out there? Maybe just a phone support person or possibly exercise buddy/group? I'm beginning to feel a bit scared and alone in this, even though I have a very supportive family. Hoping to meet a few new people and possibly long time friends.......Robyn

Hi Robyn I've been going to the Y. Great exercise room and they even have a belly dancing class on Saturday afternoon. If you want someone to walk with let me know. Dianne P.S. Have you entered your surgery date on your profile yet??

Hi Robyn - I'm down here in Medford. Don't know about being an exercise buddy, but maybe when we are both halfway to goal we can start walking and meet in the middle! Dina
