Empty Profiles---Whaaaaat's Up???????

Here's my pet-peeve!!! I don't mean to be the BIG-BAD_WOLF! I love reading the posts and people's profiles and "especially" the before and after progress pictures. Come on people.........update your info.....at least what surgery you had or are having, and what Insurance and what Doctor. Many of us Pre-Ops are looking for info and are learning. So when you post stuff make sure you have updated your progress too! At least put something like your starting weight and co-morbs and where you are today.......And a photo is always nice so you can see who you are communicating with! Ok Nadine, Here I am, I try to keep my file updated monthly now, but I will tell you I am 4 mo. today post op, I have lost 60 lbs. and well over 35". I feel 10 yrs younger and my BP went from 200/110 to 112/64, now that is proof that this tool works! I'm not going to post a new picture until I'm 6 mo. out because I want you to see dramatics, or a little drama anyway. If you have any questions e-mail me and I would be glad to answer them. Hi nadine, I really need an "after" photo posted... My digital camera is having problems (or the photographer is.. LOL) I will try to do that this week.. it's been 13 months and this picture of me was taken 2 years ago at 250 lbs? I do have other photos on my www link.. but none updated.. infact I am worse at updating my web page than I am my OH profile.. I really use the OH profile for more of a time line journal for myself.. it is very helpful to go back and read what weight I am at what time period, where my head is and such.. good reminder for people... theresa

Hi Teresa, Yes, I would love to see a recent pic of your success. Looks like your doing great...! You look awesome...! I hope to meet a few of you soon. Michele had mentioned about meeting and I know you guys were going to go out some night which would be nice. I can't right now I am in the middle of studying for a test, a new job and also worry about getting the surgery. So hopefully in a few weeks when all this calms down I would love to go out...Best of luck... nadine

ok nadine, You got me wanting to update my webpage.. so I get into geo cities and my file manager and upload a ton of pictures and guess what??? it won't let me open the webbuilder thingy (html for dummies) I am so flustered with this.. it's telling me I don't have an "index.html" but I DO!! I swear I do! oh well, kinda like cleaning house.. it's just easier to move!! LOL so off to build a new one!! I will let you know when I have it up and running and it will be linked to my OH page like this one.. and as soon as your done with your tests, and getting settled into your new job your gonna have to meet with the rest of us.. not gonna let you wait until "after" surgery!!! I have the same pet peeve, specially when somebody has a profile I am following and then BAM, nothing. It's soo frustrating. So in response to your post, I updated my profile. Although I am still pre-op, haven't seen the PCP yet cause my insurance hasn't kicked in, I still updated, so what about everybody else..????? LOL! The profile and pictures on this site are what keeps me motivated, and you don't want me to loose motivation do you? ::::checking to see if guilt trip is working:::::: Ta ta everybody!
