Support Groups in Portland/Gresham area:

I am looking for support groups in the Portland, or Gresham area. I live in Sandy, Or., so it is a bit of a drive to the one I have been going to and usually they have been at night. The only ones I have attended are the ones at Emanual Hospital Lorenzen Center in Portland. This is so far for me to go, so I am looking for some that might be closer. Any one? And, do you have to be affiliated with that Doctor/Hospital to go to others? Are there any in the day time?

Hey Joan, There is a group at Providence Portland. May not be much closer but it is right on I-84. I was actualy up on the forums to post a general invite for our next meeting (6/2/04). We have a nutritionalist (sp?) as a guest speaker so I'd love to have as many people take advantage of her expertise. We meet the 1st Wed of each month at 7:00. We represent all different Dr's hospitals and surgeries. I encourage anyone even cosidering comming to forward me quetions. Our guest has asked for as many topics up front so she can prepare. Scott
