Anyone interested in getting together

I'm interested in getting a group of folks together not so much to do a support group but more social things on a regular basis Obviously we'll have a lot of bariatric/new life to talk about, but I'd like to do things like movies,game night and family outings...things we weren't doing as much of but now we can! I live in SE portland. It's going to be a great summer..let's get out there and live it!!! Keep a look out for a posting if there's enough people interested...as few as 3 families as many as we want is cool with me! Joanna (8weeks - down 30lbs)

Sounds like a great idea! I've moved from my stomping grounds a year ago and due to the social limitations of my job and also being busy doing the homemaker thing, I haven't developed many new friendships here. Count me in too! I am realtively new to the scene. I have my appointment on May 25th. I don't have much support, so I couldn't be happier about meeting with others!
