Has anyone seen Dr Davey in Edmonton Alberta Canada

Hi, I just saw Dr Davey on Wednesday, I dare say he seem to be a very dedicated man when it comes to bariatrics. Anyway he says that he sees no problem in helping me, but one must go through all the steps of the work ups, and going to his clinic, and all of the reg. stuff that I have read about. My quetion is, once you have done all of this......... can someone give me an idea as to how long it takes before you get your surgery. Any info. will be appreciated Thanks, Carol

Carol - this post is on the Oregon forum message board, so I don't know if we can answer your question. Reason being I understand it is quite the process to get through in Canada - with a waiting list up to 6 years or so. I'm not sure of your situation, your doctor or anything else, but I would say maybe to see if there is a Canada message board you can ask your peers about..... Dina
