Dr patterson

has anyone used her and good sam for the lap band and had to self pay? waht was your totals?

Candy, I tried to get in to see Dr. Patterson but it was months of waiting. I did ask about the total cost of the surgery for the band and I was told it was $22,000. (I'm assuming that includes the hospital, etc.) I ended up going down to SF to have my surgery done. I was a self pay. After you get all the tests done, you can schedule your surgery within two or three weeks. The total cost of my surgery there was $13,500. A considerable savings. Yes, there was the cost of the air fare and motel, but it still didn't add up to $22,000. AND I was able to get in and get it done long before I was able to even get in the introduction part for Dr. Patterson.
