MTV???!!!

What is this??!!! Is AMOS feeding us to the wolves??? Does AMOS really support the exploitation of a group already discriminated against. We all know what those shows are about....and it's not a "domumentary". It's a reality show. Big difference. One is thought provoking...the other is a side-show. I'm really quite irritated by this...am I alone?? Anyone else out there think this is absurd??

That's kind of what I was thinking Mary! I don't see how it can be a positive experience for the person involved. I see it as total exploitation. What is AMOS thinking??

I may get flamed for this....BUT.... Since when were TV networks out there for OUR GOOD? It's to make money and we all should know that by now. Even the "documentary" is about making money and they are going to feature this in whatever light they think will A-make people watch B-make even more people watch by exploiting the topic or creating controversy If I thought for a second I had a chance (too old, 28), hell ya, I would go for it and let myself be exploited til the cows come home if it meant actually being able to get this surgery. they get what they want and I get mine. Sounds fine to me. I just don't see the point in even bothering to be annoyed at this, MTV isn't a charity out to help anybody except themselves, nor is any other network for that matter. I personally can't stand MTV anymore so I rarely watch, but I will keep an eye out for this one for sure because I, like millions of other people, am curious. Not a loser yet, but hoping! Brandi
