help!

Wow...2004 has certainly made its impression upon me. I was layed off from my job on Friday and had to have emergency gall bladder surgery on Sunday. I was not prepared for another surgery so soon after gastric bypass. I guess when it rains it pours. Now I can just pray for the sunshine. It's been awhile since I have posted....so hello and welcome to all of you new members. Please say a prayer for me everyone...I am feeling completely overwhelmed and not much like eating the things I should be. Take care, Shelley

Getting laid off is always a major stressor, but maybe it's for the best.... now you will have the time to take care of yourself and just rest awhile and get well..... I live very close (I guess) to you, I'm between Milwaukie and Oregon City, off Mcloughlin at Roethe Rd......And as fellow Oregonian's we should know, yes, when it rains, it usually pours! Debby

Hi, honey. I´m in Mexico at an internet cafe and saw your post. First, know you´re cared about, and you´re in my thoughts and prayers. Second, I hope you´re feeling better each day. Once I´m home lets get together and look at the want ads...legal secretaries do well, I´m telling you. And don´t worry about what you´re eating now.
