Three months Check up to surgery

Friday I went and had my 3 month check up. Went great, But Doc did yell at me for not taking my Thyroid meds. But back on them now faithfully.I am down 87 lbs. Since leaving hospital. Doc gave me a great big star on the forehead. It hurt because I have a mark there from my air mask. So I told him just give me a giant Kudo next time.We laughed. My pants are all falling off me. I am hoping for a new job and a money for clothes for Christmas. Not much. Or the Damn Powerball jackpot winning ticket. Since I won't get any of the above, Just A cheery warm greeting from family and friends would be just the thing. So, Happy Holidays Everyone.!!

I am so happy for you monica.. I am post op only 12 days and I'm down 20 pds and feel like I should be losing more.. I'm hoping I'm where you are at now in 3 months.. I'm so happy for you though !!! yayayaya Enjoy your christmas. I have a question for you though?? What are you eating at this point?? Hi Monica... Since you mentioned you wanted some new clothes...you might want to check out freecycle. I know that this WLS website has a clothing exchange, but there are local groups that 'recycle' quality clothing (and other items). The best part is that it is free! The portland freecycle group is at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/freecycleportland/ I don't know what size you are looking for, but someone listed some 3x size clothing today. I don't know if it has been claimed yet. If you aren't in Portland- check the main freecycle website at www.freecycle.org to see if there is one in your area. Good Luck! Tammy
