Just wanting to say Hi!!!!!
Hello everyone how is everyone doing? Well earlier this year I decided to have the surgery done. I was pro-active and had most of my appointment done prior to even going to Dr. Patterson's info session. Like many of you out there I have been over weight most of my life. I have diabetes, liver problems, and high blood pressure to name a few. It has been a relatively easy journey (knock on wood)
At this point I only have 2 more appointments which before I can make an appointment to see the surgeon So I'm looking to make some new friends who can relate to what I'm going through. Although my family and friends are supportive they don't really understand what it feels like to be a "big girl". My mom tries but her attitude has always been "just because you can't do it I shouldn't have to suffer". With this attitude it's not going to be easy with her.
I would love to have an e-mail buddy, someone I can bounce things off of.
I'm so glad I found this site!!!!!
Wishing everyone great success in their journey!

Hi. My name is Kathy and I'm scheduled for RNY in January. My husband is having his RNY next Tuesday. I have found this board very helpful. I love the Q&A as well as the depth of the library. You can find answers to most questions you ask and answers to some questions you probably don't even want to know about. Welcome and good luck with your journey.

Let me know if I can help at all, okay?
