NEW PICTURE ON PROFILE
Hi Everyone(!),
Just wanted to let you know that I have a new pic on my profile, weightloss of 52 pounds, I am going to see shortly if it is attached to my posts. My old pic is from a year ago... I just hated the pics taken of me
at my all time high weight before surgery, perhaps someday I will be able to post one. (UG~~!)
PS~~ I loved hearing about your Thanksgiving plans.. my holiday went well, due to me cooking less items and smaller amounts, so not as much leftovers.. I think every year I had a piece of pie or cheese cake for every meal for a week after... thought I was treating myself after all of the hard work...
IT was so nice not to be stressed about dinner... I was so relaxed..... and nibbled, never told myself anything was forbidden.. that way I didnt really want the sweets.. but I did try the gravy and dressing... and I dont feel guilty..
Hugs to all and hope you are having a nice weekend....

Hey Melissa COOL..Oh my don't you look 20 years younger... good greif.. I cannot get over how much younger you look in your updated picture..I may have to change your name to the YOUNG Melissa COOOL. I had a very positive Thanksgiving too. I ate what I wanted and as much as I wanted.. I just didn't happen to want very much.. I especially enjoyed the carbs.. oh man they were so yummy..no wonder I ate them all the time LOL I felt no guilt either.. it is just another day and it was a day of a feast.. no biggee.. I enjoyed this Thanksgiving possibly more than any I have ever had because for the first time I wasn't miserable full and in pain.. I was happy and feeling good.. no after dinner crash either. I love my new life..this was a little scary going into it not knowing what to expect.. but it was nothing to fear ..and I really don't miss anything. If I want something I have it .. I just happen to have a lot less.
Hi Ms Barbie Girl (As quoted by your surgeon, hehehee)
Thank you thank you for saying I look 20 yrs younger... wow, cant get enough of hearing that, hehehee...
My eldest son shall be 20 in April, so if I look 20 yrs younger, can I be his sister instead? lol
I love what you said about Thanksgiving as another day and a day of feast.... and so true that our little tummies wouldnt allow us to eat much...
Did you see all of the dieting and exercise commercials on tv (was like a never ending blitz)all weekend long? I can remember every year thinking of trying something new, wanting to lose a little before New Years... last September I weighed this much and gained it all back by New Years (plus 10 more). THANK GOD we now have the "tool" and the lifetime road to success...
From what I have read we are on the "Honeymoon Phase" and that is fine with me, I am enjoying it!!
Thank you Lynn ((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))
I hope you do get your surgery before 12-31..... darn insurance, I wish they would change their mind, dont they realize the money that they are saving by getting you healthy?
When do you see Flanagan? He is great, my neighbor just adores him.
Hugs to you,
Melissa
