I'm new to the boards so please, be gentle. *hehe* I had the lap-band procedure done last year in April and it just hasn't worked out for me. So, I've got a surgery date for Dec 11th to have an open DS. YAY! I'm very excited! I hope you're all doing well! =) Tracy

Congratulations on your upcoming date Tracy! When I had surgery my Dr went over other types with me to tell me why he does the one he does.. he said he alot of revisions from the lap band. For some people it works and for some it does not ... We each have to find our own way I guess I am glad you are here on our board and I wish you the best possible results from your upcoming surgery! Please keep us posted on how you are doing.. and we are always here if you need us!
