New Here!

Hi all, I'm new here and just wanted to say Hi . My name is Lynn, and I'm 32 years old. I've got a tentative date for surgery (12/18/03), just waiting on approval. Same story different person, I'm sure. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all, possibly getting some support , and hope to be able to be a support to someone else as well. Thanks!

Hi Lynn - Welcome! I read your profile and see you have met Dr Flannigan.. good for you .. he certainly is a leader in the field.. and right here in our own back yard! I had originally hoped to go to him but my BC/BS had an iron clad exclusion.. after battling for years I had to be a self pay. I sure hope you get through the system in time to be covered!! If anyone can get you there his staff will!

Welcome to the Oregon Board. My husband and I are both scheduled for surgery. His is 12/9/03 and I am 1/15/04. We're having our surgery in Southern California. No insurance so we are self pay. So, you will be here in Eugene for your surgery? I've met Dr. Flannigan and was impressed with his knowledge. Good luck. Keep in touch. KW
