Hi all - new to the forum...

Hello everyone! My name is Dina and I'm new to the forum, but not to having hung around here awhile. I have had a profile for probably over a year but never did much here because I thought this surgery for me was a pipe dream. Looks like it will actually happen...go figure! So you don't all have to search my profile right now (but you know you're going to check it out anyway...admit it....you like to look!), I am scheduled for March 10th with Dr. Aguirre in Ensenada, Mexico. I found out about him through CJ Cody's sister Linda and it's been the best thing to happen to me! I'm just so thankful Linda and I connected again after all these years! I'm 37 years old and live in Medford. I dispatch for the Oregon State Police, am married (10 years) and have 1 son, Mason, who is 2 years old. That's all I can think of for now. Welcome Dina! Sounds to me like another gathering needs to happen...CJ, her sister Linda, Dina, Kathy, and the Portland girls. I'm scheduled for 68 days from now with Dr. Aguirre (1/21/04)...congrats on your pipedream coming true. Looking forward to a meet and greet! ~Lesa~

Hi Dina. I'm scheduled for 1/15/04 with a surgeon in California. I've had a couple of reschedules due to health problems but I feel confident about the 1/15/04 date. It seems like there are a few of us with WLS just around the corner. Here's to a slimmer and healthier Oregon! YEAH. I am also looking forward to meeting you. Congrats!

Hi Dina.. I am glad you wandered in here.. this is a great board for the most part! I am ready for the get together any time Lesa .. Dina - There are two other gals Ensenada bound .. Lesa who you probably already know from Dr Aguirre's forum and Denise... with you and Linda that is 4 Oregon Seniorita's waiting in the wings... Have you attended a support group in the Medford area? Melissa COOL was telling me about one down there that has a "real" counselor as a leader.. it sounds very intersting.

Sorry it took so long for me to reply - thanks for all the warm welcomes! I have a hard time remembering to check new forums sometimes! I can't wait for this to be DONE and overwith! I just went to my first meeting (PRIDE) tonight and am really motivated now!!! Dina
