:-) :-) :-) I am home from the hosptial :-) :-) :-)
Yes being fatigued is certainly normal... and with 2 surgeries so close I imagine it is harder on your body to recoup. I was going to bed 2 or 3 hours earlier than I usually did and sleeping all through the night. -A Barbie- hehehe...The tan is all but gone now that picture was back in August.. after sitting at baseball games and practices every day of the week and tournaments every weekend through the middle of July and then spending the rest of the summer out on the boat I had a good one going .. but it is all gone now.. easy come easy go.. that is one of the reasons I am not in such a hurry to put an updated picture up LOL Lesa says I look alot different in person now and to put a new picture up.. but I cannot bring myself to do it just yet... that was very hard to put up a pic.. I mean you spend all day trying to get one that you don't look toooo fat in so you can put it in your obesity help profile.. how silly is that??
You arent being silly at all~~ my pic is over a year old.... my hair is much longer than that and lighter in color. And notice my angle and the shadowing? My sweet daughter took that pic of me, knowing how to make me look slimmer. Well~~~~ I am certain that that the new Barbie girl today, isnt as big as the August Barbie girl... you have lost so much(!) So~~~ I think that when you want to post a new pic you will~~ no worries I am down 19 pounds since Tuesday!
It will come with time Melissa . When I first started walking I could not make it to the end of my driveway which is only about 100 yards... yesterday I walked 8 miles.. the more you exercise the more energy you will have.. but it will come slowly at first... take your time and heal.. you are doing so well already. 8 weeks today for me.. and I cannot wait to go in and see what I weigh... My pants fell off me yesterday .. thankfully I was at home and not in Walmart or Safeway LOL.. These are pants I could not fasten before surgery. Not even close - the button on one side of my hip and the button hole on the other hip.
Don't be too impressed Shelley I have to do it 4 miles in the morning and 4 miles in the afternoon.. I cannot do it all at once.. YET hehe.. at 10 weeks if the rain has not kicked in yet I will pu**** up to 5 miles two times a day.. I was doing 5 once a day and that is all I had. I wanted to move to 6 so I just cut to 4 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon.. I got home from my 2 that afternoon and I was ready to go again.. so off I went ... even though I am not loosing super fast I sure am shrinking.. I think I am building muscles and that is showing as a slower loss when I am really trading fat for muscle... I don't care I feel SO good and my clothes are falling off.. I have always suspected the scale to be a liar anyway HA! Melissa - I am wearing a 22/24 in shirts now from a 4x or sometimes 5x only EIGHT short weeks ago.. my bottom half (due to my panni I think) is still a 28.. unless I am wearing elastic waist or sweats.. then I am a 2X. I wore as big as a 36 jeans at one time which is like a 5x or even 6x??
CJ!
Did you purchase some new pants Barbie Girl? I doubt if your bottom is the same size, as evidenced by falling off pants...
I dont know what size I am now, but my old capris are coming up to my bra line when I pull them up,lol~~ and they are a lot longer on me now.... oh darn, we need to go shopping, lol~~~
Melissa
CJ,
I think it is time to shopping for new pants girl, lol~~ at least a couple of pairs.. you are walking those clothes right off of you....
I wish I lived near you and I'd go walking with you once I was healed up enough to do so... And~~ I agree, it is a good thing not to be flashing those Walmart Shoppers (!) lol... Let me know what size you are down too;;;; gotta be good news!!! My oldest son bought me a new treadmill last month, and I havent stepped on it yet, but I plan to.. HUGS
