Shelley Update
I'M SO GLAD...I was kinda afraid to call you today...I was at Monica's when you called this afternoon and I felt so bad for you. Monica was a bit, um, whiney today (sorry, Mon) and I had to remind her that she was only 4 days post surgery. She thought it had been a lot longer (that's what morphine will do for you!), and then felt much better about her feelings, her progress, etc. I'll call you tomorrow to check up on you. If you need ANYTHING, day or night, call my cell phone 503-318-7739. I'd be happy to help in any way I can. Love ya, Lesa
Shelly,
when I talked to you from monica's house and you told me the problems you were having.. you asked if I had anything like that...
I said "NO"... ha, not true!! I started remembering while I was talking to lesa.. then when I got home I had to ask my daughter.
my daughter reminded me all about it. YES, I did have pain while walking straight up.. I did have to bend over becuase one of the sugical sights was PULLING.. walking from the bathroom to the bedroom I was hunched over. NO I did not walk like I was suppose to those first 2 weeks..
I find my memory is really shot from the time of surgery until probably a good month out. I think with all the pain pills and the instant estrogen release I was on a "CRAZY RIDE"...
(the estrogen release part of it: immagine your worst PMS x100)
I thought the craziness was due to the fact I was taken off my antidepressants so abrublty (god I am so sorry I can't spell)
so I thought it was all from no pills.. well, maybe that was till part of it but from what I have read I am leaning more with the estrogen...
anyway hang in there.. I promise you it will get better each day and if your LUCKY like me you'll forget all of the bad crap and have to have your kids remind you... LOL
hugs,
theresa
