Morphine.....

Does it make everyone itch? I know Shelley was a itchy sweaty mess from her pain meds and I always am too. Is that just a side affect or what??? Shelley said they had tried percacet but it didn't help with her pain enough. Can't remember which they ended up using for pain.

I've heard a lot of people are allergic to morphine (but unless you're an IV drug user, how would you know?!). I guess that's another good reason to stop using it as quickly as possible. I talked to Monica this morning too, and although her throat was raw, she sounded pretty good. I think Shelley must have a low pain threshhold. I hope they find something to give her that doesn't make her itch so much. She made me tear at her skin with a plastic spoon to quell the itching! I felt guilty...then she told me she'd give me her clothes and I thought I'd strangle her I'M NOT GOING TO NEED THEM SOON EITHER!!!
