NEW TO MESSAGE BOARD

Hi, I'm new to this board. I live in Eugene, Oregon. I have an appointment with Dr. Powell in Pasadena, California on 10/10/03. Actually both my husband and I have appointments and hope to do WLS together. I have had some signficant health problems and related surgeries over the past 3 years so I'm not sure if I will be accepted for the surgery, although I meet the criteria. I'm worried that my husband will have WLS and I will be left behaind. My sister, sister-in-law and brother have all had RNY lap with Dr. Powell. All three having great success! Looking forward to hearing from folks about their WLS, sucess and goals. Kathy
