I have a date... south of the boarder!

Well my ins. is a thing of the past, I have decided to have my wls in mexico. I will be paying for it myself but I have 5 months to come up with the cash, God willing I will save up the money. I am so happy and worried. I am so greatful for Cj Cody and her postings and encouragement. I will be going Jan.28 2004!No more waiting for someone who dosent know me to make health dissions for me!

Hey Denise! My surgery is one week earlier with Dr. Aguirre! I live in Portland, Oregon, and also gave up on my insurance to cover this surgery. I'm sure you can find the money...where there's a will, there's a way! Let's stay in touch and be supports for each other following surgery. -Lesa

DENISE!!! I am so happy for you !!! I am a week and a half post-op and I am doing SO well.. Dr. Aguirre is such a wonderful Surgeon. I went to my PCP here Thursday to get 1/2 my staples out. He was in total shock at how well I am doing.. he commented more than once on how surprised he was at how well I am recovering.. I told him "Hey I had a really good Surgeon" He said "It sure looks like you did." Denise if you haven't yet you need to come aqquaint yourself with Dr. Aguirres patient forum.
