Hello everyone! This is the 1^st time I have posted on the Oregon Board. I actually forgot it was here…oops. I have been posting on the main band forum. My name is Tanya and I was banded on the 17^th of February with the standard Lap-Band (10cc). Today is 2 weeks! I’m doing great so far. Still a bit tender where the port is but the other incisions are healing up great. I went in yesterday for my 2 week post-op check and the Dr was proud of my progress. I was down 16lbs in 13 days!! I was so excited to hear that news. I still have another 2 weeks of high protein liquids. I won’t start on mushy foods until March 17^th and then onto regular foods as tolerated on March 31^st, although I go back for my 6 week check and 1^st fill on March 30^th and will be back on liquids for 24 hours so will start regular foods the afternoon of April 1^st. I know it has not been very long but so far I like the band. Hope to get to know many of you.

Nice to meet you. I haven't posted much but thought coming here more often might give me much needed support. I'm at a plateau. I know you are very excited about having your surgery as I was and still am. Good luck to you...life is good.

Highest 298; Pre-op: 279; PreOp BMI 41. CW: 188 & Current BMI: 30!!!!!

1st Goal 248; 2nd Goal 230 met!!!! 7/2010; 3rd Goal 215 - met 9/18/10!!!; 4th Goal 200 - 12/20/2010... Surgeons goal met - I'd like to lose a litte more.
