OHSU February Support Groups
Vicki mentioned that they are having a bit of a problem with their group email list so you might not be getting an email reminder for February if you are part of the OHSU email group.
Hello everyone! We are welcoming in 2011 with an entire set of new topics for discussion with the Bariatric Support Groups. We have some changes in 2011 including the role of facilitator. My major practice is in the hospital now so I will be handing over the baton to some new people. The 3 dietitians will be facilitating this month. Our topic is Five Keys to Effective Weight Loss. One suggestion is to have each person bring their own list of their "five keys" to start out. Here are the details of the meetings: 1. February 9th, wed, 10-1130, CHH 3178/CHH 5, Center for Health and Healing on Five Keys to Effective Weight Loss. 2. Feburary 15th, Tues, 6:30-8 pm, CHH 3181/1B with Michelle Tegenkamp RD on the above topic (five Keys..) 3. February 23rd, 10-1130, CHH 3180, CHH6, Gloria Scalzo RD, will be leading the general open discussion, for postoperative needs or long term questions. Hope you can join the team!
