OHSU will have a special guest for the October 13th Bariatric Support Group Meeting from 10-11:30.  Bob Wilson, is a trainer at Kaiser and his mindful and self-nuturing approach has helped many individuals find new direction in their lives.  He is returning to speak and lead discussion based on special request from the group participants.  His topic will be "How to Develop an Unconditional Relationship with Our Self."  Please see the attachment for this email above.  I will bring copies to the meeting.

      Time:  10-11:30 a.m.       Location:  Center for Health and Healing, on the Waterfront at the OHSU Clinic, 3rd floor, 3178/Room 5, 3303 S.W. Bond Ave., Portland, Oregon 97239. 

Parking is underground across from the clinic.  Bring your
parking ticket to get stamped on the 6th floor desk at the Digestive Health Center for paid parking.       The topic of Relationships and How They May Change after Weight Loss Surgery will be the topic for the evening group on October 19, 2010 from 6:30-8pm.  Please see Chapter 14,  pp. 177-187 in the book, The Emotional First Aid Kit - a practical guide to life after Bariatric Surgery by cynthia L.
