Recommended Surgeon in Oregon?

Would anyone be willing to share their experiences selecting a surgeon in the Portland, Oregon area?  Vancouver, Washington would work, as well.....

I had mine done by Dr O'rourke at OSHU. I've also heard that the doctors at Legacy Good Sam are great, too.

Oh, cool! I'm a patient of Dr. O'Rourke's, too - my surgery is coming in a couple of days (the morning of Tuesday, July 6). Nice to meet you!

I had my surgery one year ago on the 24th in Eugene Oregon at the Oregon Bariatric Center at Riverbend by Dr. Donald Yarborough...  He is excellent and I have had awesome success.. I am now down to 140!  Before surgery my highest weight was 266!!!

I am seeing Dr. Patterson at OWLS.  She seems very competent and experienced with revisions.   I just started the three months supervised dieting, and iI see Dr. Raum to get a new diet tomorrow.  If all goes as planned, I will have my VBG revised to a bypass in November.

Dr. Yarborough left the Oregon Bariatric Center. He was replaced by two surgeons -- the one who did mine is Jessica Folek. She is excellent and has had superb training. I would highly recommend her.

 I also had Dr. O'Rourke.  Almost three years ago now!

I had Dr halpin also. Had surgery on April 2010. Have lost 55lbs so far. She was very easy to talk to and to answer all my question in terms I could understand not the big fancy $6 dollar words that make you say what the heck did she just say. I would recomend her to anyone thinking of having this surgery.
