OHP covering the VSG?

 Has anyone heard of the Oregon Health Plan paying for the VSG? I don't have OHP, but have heard rumors that they are paying for it now and I want to use that fact to fight my own insurance woes.

Hi Nikki, are you still fighting the battle with Providence? I hope you can eventually get the VSG. As you know, I ended up getting the RNY and have actually been very happy with it. I'm losing well and feel really good. If given the option, I would still go for the VSG though - for the pyloric valve.

Hi, I had a VSG with Dr. Cirrangle in February...  I fought UMR a local Oregon insurance and won, they overturned the inital denial and paid for just about everything.  I have some great ideas and tons of info for bargining power.  send me a message.  oh by the way, I've lost 120 lbs in 5 months witht he VSG...AMAZING
