I am new here, and just wanted to introduce myself as I begin this journey. I got an approval letter yesterday from Kaiser Permanente that allows me to enter their severe obesity program, and hopefully start down the road to Roux N Y surgery.

I just recently got my approval through Kasier NW as well. I filled out my packet the day I got it and mailed it the next morning. I got a letter last Friday (one week later) inviting me to the orientation on May 7th, 2010. I am very anxious. The orientations are usually the first Friday's of the month.

Good to know! I sent my packet in yesterday, so maybe I'll hear soon. It would be great to attend the May 7th meeting and get started in earnest.
