Employers with insurance to cover WLS?

I am determined to find a way to have WLS.  I have exhausted all options through my employers insurance.  WLS is an exclusion through our Regence Blue Cross Blue Sheild.  My husband works for a small company that does not offer health insurance.  I am unable at this time to self pay and have not been able to find a loan option that will approve me.  I am almost willing to change employers if I knew that the new employer had insurance that covers WLS.  My husband feels the same.  For those who don't mind sharing...what employers in the Portland Oregon area have insurance that covers WLS?

Thanks!

what kind of work do you and your husband do that you would be willing tochange employers? This might help your search for a new employer and in a field either you ro yoru husband work in/for.

My husband has a background in Quality Control in a manufacturing environment.  He is currently an Operations Manager in a similar environment ( I am being semi vague for privacy reasons...  Last thing I want is for our employers to think we are on the hunt for new jobs KWIM =).  He has a wide range of skills and management experience with a degree.  I am much more set in my job.  I actually LOVE my job, but wish they would consider the importance of this surgery not being an exclusion on my plan.  I work in the travel industry.  I have a background in account management and other hospitality related work.  I am also a Certified Emergency Medical technichian and used to work for American Medical Response.  I have also been an emergency dispatcher.  I am going to check in that field also.  If this gives anybody any ideas let me know!

Thanks!!!

Revision on 01/16/12
My husband works as an engineer for a major internet site, he has Aetna and I can't find any WLS exclusions in our plan.  I had VBG in 2001 and now I'm hoping to get a revision to DS or RNY.

I know you posted this several weeks ago, but just wanted to chime in. When you say you have dispatch experience it make me think of Comcast. They offer Kaiser (which doesn't easily cover WLS without jumping through many, many hoops) and Independence BC/BS which does cover WLS. All open positions are posted through the careers link on comcast.com so you can check to see if there's anything near you.
