State Employee with Providence Insurance
Just letting everyone know that Providence was great to work with regarding approving my Panni. I thought there would be no way this new insurance would every cover anything like that or at least not without jumping throught a million hoops. I was notified by the doctors office a week after my consultation that I was approved...I'm so suprised about the new insurance. Since the closest surgeon is in Boise they even approved it as they will pay the out of network doc the in network fees and cover the costs. I told the insurance I could go to Portland if I needed an in network provider and they said no we want you have be as close to home as possible and make this surgery as least stressful as it can be...wow!!

I am glad this has been your experience. I wish I could say this was mine. At least I know they are approving something. I am on my second level appeal to get excess skin removed from my bottom. I keep getting told it is cosmetic and it most certainly is not. So I have to decide if I am going to submit my last appeal the way I have the last two or if I am going to appear in person. Maybe if I put a face to the problem? I don't know. My best to you. JaimeK
