OHSU Bariatric Support Group - January

My understanding is that there are no speakers.  They would like to have group meetings and hear from people.  So, come to ask and answer questions.

January 13^th, from 10-11:30, third floor of the Center for Health and healing, Room 3178 January19th,  from 6:30-8 pm, room 3171 January 27th, from 10-11:30 room 3180

Center for Health and Healing, 3303 S.W. Bond Ave, Portland, Oregon 97239.  Park in the underground parking across from the building, have your parking ticket stamped on first or sixth floor, DHC desk.

Starting off 2010 with a presentation by Lori Iverson, from the March Wellness program at OHSU, who will discuss Making the Most of Your Health in 2010.

She will present at the 1/13 and 1/19 meetings.

In February they will welcome back Dr. Christine Jensen (Changing from the Inside Out) for a discussion on Common responses to weight loss - mourning the loss of food,  for the 10-11:30 meeting on 2/10/10.   They will be asking another psychologist to join the eveing session if possible or general discussion will take place.

 can anyone go to these support groups? i will be having surgery in march and would like to get set up on a support group. do i just show up? is there a fee?

There is no fee and the group is open to everyone. You can just show up.
