Thanks for the post Chelea!  I actually will be in Portland on the 18th to see my spine surgeon at OHSU, so I may hang around and attend the evening support group.  We no longer have our group here in Eugene.

Linda~    I am planning to attend that meeting also.  I look forward to meeting you.  I am sorry to hear about the Eugene group.  I had referred my sister-in-laws mother to that group.  She is just in the beginning stages and looking for more information and inspiration.

Hope to meet you next week.

Yes, I'm sad about the group.  We started out with about 20 people and it was so fun to share stories, offer suggestions to problems, etc.  Attendance dwindled to about 10, then 4, then 3, then the last time I went I was the only one there.  Considering I need to do updates on training which involve long conference calls, etc., it just didn't seem worth it to me anymore (I was the group leader), so I closed it down.  I suppose I should have made it more exciting by inviting speakers, etc., but it seemed we were all so busy sharing, I don't know when we would have found the time.  I for one know I can use all the help I can get.
