OH of Eugene/Springfield Closes Shop

Tonight was the last meeting of the Eugene/Springfield Support Group.  I have better things to do with my time than to sit there by myself.  I hope you all have the support you need.

How sad that no one showed up last night.  I was going to come, but couldn't take my baby granddaughter with me.  I so enjoyed the meetings when I was able to go, even though my drive time was 3 hours to get there.   Hopefully things will change when summer is over.  People are out enjoying the sunshine, going on vacations, etc.  We appreciate all you have done.

I have been a "regular" member of the Eugene/Springfield support group meetings, and I feel awful about the poor attendance. I would have come to the July meeting, but vacation only comes once a year..............

i totally enjoyed all the meetings and it was a great group.  Hate to see it close up, but understand your doing so.

I'm sorry to see that there are not going to be any more meetings. I tried to come when I could but we bought a house last month and had to rip out carpets with urine stains. It was very nasty. If the meetings start back up I am definitely interested.

I'm so sorry that you had to stop the meetings.  I have been "meaning to come to a meeting" for several months now.  I'm such a procrastinator.  I feel awful about not coming now, but I see that I am obviously not the ony one that did not show up.

If they start back up again, I would definitely be interested in attending.  I could definitely use some support as I have very little.

I understand that many support meetings don't have meetings in the summer months.  Many people are so busy with outdoor activities and going on vacations that they simply don't take the time to go indoors -- except to sleep and take showers.

Perhaps with fall weather approaching, more people would be willing to attend meetings of your support group.  All they have to do is to express their interest and be committed to attend.
