Looking for aftercare Physician

I am going to have my Lap Band procedure done in Mexico. I was wondering if anyone has a good aftercare clinic or physician in the Portland/Clackamas area. I do have insurance through Kaiser, but I dont think they will cover fills, or If they even provide them. Any help would be great!

A number of our members have recommended Dr. Kelly Fitzpatrick ("Dr. Kelly") for lap-band fills/refills/unfills.  She practices in Portland and Eugene.

She is a naturopathic physician (ND) who also specializes in fills with or without fluoroscopy.  She also specializes in Swedish and French lap-bands as well as American lap-bands.  She works with patients who have been banded in Mexico, South America, France, Spain, and other countries.

Kaiser does'nt do do anything but  the open RNY, unless they changed and are doing it lapriscopically now.  I don't think you would have any luck trying to get them to cover a fill after having the lapband. You might try going to the support group meeting tomorrow ( saturday) over at Sunnybrook. You might find out some info there, there are people from all over that go to these meetings who have had both procedures done.. If you have'nt been already. the meetings for pre-ops is from 10 am until noon.
