There is a wonderful group that meets in Salem at the Salem Hospital the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of every month. Would that be close enough for you?

Hi there,
My name is Pam and yes as Vicki mentioned we are a great group. It is Salem BOST (Bariatric Surgery Support Team) I am the facilitator and our next meeting is tomorrow (Wednesday night)  We meet at the Salem Hospital in the basement Room D at 6:30pm.
All are welcome pre or post-op and you can certainly bring a support person with you as well. We look forward to seeing you there.

I had my surgery in Mexico on 10-10-08. I am seeing both Dr. kelly Fitzpatrick in Milwaukie, OR. & Dr. Deveney from OHSU in Portland, OR. I do not belong to a group that meets just a couple online groups. One of the groups I belong to is run by a lady that was a nurse for Dr. Kuri for 25 years. So any advise I need I can turn to her if I can not get quick results from my doctors office. If you need someone for support I would be glad to be there for you.
