plastic surgeon with GREAT reputation

I am almost 2 years out and have lost 120 pounds and have gained, lots of hanging skin. I think I'm ready to address this issue but, want someone who has a great rep, any thoughts? Thanks in advance (anywhere from Eugene to Portland would be great)

Hey Nancy!  Good to see you here.  I know Julia from Roseburg had Dr. Jewell here in Eugene do her tummy tuck and eye work.  She really liked him.  Trisha (Go Go Girl) has had lots done by Juliana Hansen at OHSU and she really likes her too.  I'm still thinking that if and when the time comes for me, I'll go to Mexico -- Michelle's (Eggface's) doc is actually a San Diego doc, but practices in Mexico for the reduced overhead.  Much much cheaper, but a long way to go and of course, if complications arise, it could be problematic.  Best wishes to you.  Maybe we can start walking in the spring -- I'm having back surgery in a week and a half (finally), so will be down for a few months.

Linda, I just got back from Mexico and ps. My final evalutaion isn't completed yet, but talk to me before you decide what to do.

Mexico really is a long way away and it was hard to be away from family and friends. I did like the recovery house I stayed at.

I heard good things about Dr. Jewell too and his office staff were nice and he wasn't booked up for months ahead. He is well known in his field and does alot of speaking engagements.

Thanks for the offer.  When it comes down to it, I will most likely never get to the PS stage.  My weight has been the same for the last 11 months, and I have a feeling I'm done with the weight loss.

Linda, if you are having back issues that could impact your weight loss. Best of luck to you on your upcoming surgery and if you don't need PS that is good since it is sort of expensive!

I used Dr Robert Jensen in Medford for my BA and if I am ever able to, will go back to him for my TT!

My entire experience with him and his office was great and I am thrilled with the results!

I'm not to the point where I can have PS yet, but my surgeon's office staff recommended Dr. Movassahi in Eugene. I've looked at quite a few PS websites, and honestly, his results seem great. I had to have a major breast reduction back in 2004 and later a revision surgery done and researched it and prospective surgeons prior to the surgery and was fortunate enough to find Dr. Michael Bohley (through a referral from a prior patient actually).

He is the most fantastic doctor, takes great, great pride in his work and his bedside manner is incredible. Very sweet, very patient and incredibly warm man. He explained everything clearly to me, his staff were exceptional and my entire experience was immensely positive.

And best of all, four years down the track, I can barely see my scars.  Love, Love love this doctor and couldn't recommend him more highly.
