Surgery Date! But not WLS

I will be having a 3-level lumbar fusion at OHSU on November 19th. My poor little spine just can't take all the pressure any more. Due to three severely ruptured discs and some arthritis, I need to have my spine stabilized. I'm not looking forward to it, but it's nice to finally have a plan on the horizon.

Linda!! I'm glad that you finally have a date. I think that in time you will feel so very much better!

How long will you be there, do you know? I think they kept my friend in for 3-4 days. Please let me know would you? I can't promise that I will be there, I need to check my calender, but I think that is the week I need to be back in to see Dr. Hansen at OHSU.

You take care and you will certainly be in my prayers for an uneventful surgery.

Hi Trisha - they told me four days, but it could vary. I am NOT looking forward to the surgery, but trying to look beyond it to being recovered and in lots less pain.

If you get the chance, I'd love it if you stopped by, but don't worry about it if you can't.

Linda, I hope this finds you doing well a week out from your surgery. I had wanted to come visit you, but my brother had a heart attack and they did a triple bypass so I was out of state. He is doing well and is home recovering now.
